15. How lifespan affects the way you love, an observation from another species 

Once we were all free spirits roaming the forests in search of a human that we could watch. You seemed curious creatures, with all your garments and so many different objects to do things. We were also intrigued by the amount of food and drinks you needed in a day, how lessened you felt by it and how disturbing thirst was in a short period of time. You seemed so fragile, your existences so short and filled with illnesses and heart aches. How you reproduced was most intriguing, so painful to give birth and so amazing how powerful the emotions were. Even strangers seem to love human babies, fascinating projection. 

While we waited for our turn, we also watched some of you fall in love. Being in love was mesmerizing, we don’t have this enough in our systems, because partnerships are done more on the basis of a useful combination of skills. We pairbond through lifetimes if it serves a purpose, and then we might go separate ways for eternity if it serves another purpose. Mind you, our concept of eternity is completely different, because we live for very long time spans and then we start again in another cycle and stay there for another eternity. 

Pairing to us is a collective duty, to learn together, to support one another, we don’t believe in doing things alone. And each pairing leaves an indelible connection that will carry itself through for ever. We enhance our own abilities and knowledge with each partnership, because the intertwining is eternal in our collectiveness, pairing is expanding, therefore pairings need to end physically, so another connection can develop. But everytime we mate again, the previous love for all of those we carry in our souls and emotions, comes with us. It is an addition to a family that transforms in a brighter way. 

Because there is no attachment to past mates in a material sense, they are not a threat, each administration of living together and building a partnership is organized in a way that is not affected by past bondings. Well organized and clear ways of living together might seem tedious to you, some might even compare this to arranged marriages. It is nothing compared to it, because we know how to match real compatibility, our reasons to get two individuals together are not financial or social, they do come from a deeper place in emotional and sentimental ways. 

However, there is no expectation of romantic love, we don't have these concepts. Our species is calm and slow, because we live for what would seem to you hundreds of years, we take our time with one another, we are patient. We don't need to hurry in order to get this done and that done before the age of X and Z, we don't lose any windows of genetic predisposition if we don't mate before the age of X and we will not starve in ancient times because we didn't gather gold when we were just beginning to live. Your system is quite cruel in a way. In other ways, it pushes you so hard, that real gutural truths about who you are come to surface.

We know how many of you are ascended beyond what you can perform in this life on Earth, and then this pressure puts you in emergency mode all the time and what do you do with it? You fall in love. So precious, that in all of this, the way you manage to survive is by trying to find love. Of course it would turn into this intense feeling, one that knows that at any point death might take it away from you, hunger, distance, war… It is a desperate type of love that measures nothing in order to make it come true. That is the story of love on Earth, that it has to be powerful enough to win over adversity. 

So we had this crazy idea of coming here, to live among you and see how it feels to fall in love so deeply that it hurts in your physical shell. Are we brave enough dear soldiers of light? So we watched you for a long, long time, because that is how we do everything, with patience. And we decided to give it a try, and then some centuries ago we merged into conception for the first time and it was so quick, every lifetime was overruled by time and we could barely see it passing. We needed a few incarnations only to understand time, it was very confusing. 

We tend to grow very old, once we are born, we stay healthy and strong for longer than a starseed is used to. Those who seeded this planet feel Her pains and suffer with Her purgings and challenges, while we are not that affected. We are oblivious to rapid shifts in energies and we sleep well during any motions in the collective vibration. Our challenge here is to connect the way you do, we are clumsy and distant many would say. We tend to find a good match when we are young and then later in life, we don’t understand why our partners might find love somewhere else or think about having more than one partner. 

We tried to feel passion, we couldn't, our way of loving is calm and less intense and we found out we prefer it this way. In our perspective, the passionate human is a human who is afraid of separation, in our perspective, we would have to submit ourselves to going through a whole cycle of short life span, of losing everything really quickly again and again, until we were so traumatized by it that we would start to fall in love the way that you do. So although we find this powerful feeling enchanting and brilliant, our experience has shown us that this is a trauma response. 

In order to close our message, we want to appreciate how beautiful it is that human nature finds a way to thrive in any conditions, no matter how hard life is, you find a way to love and you adjust this bond, but you never ever quit on being together as a species. We have also watched the lives of experienced ascetics, and even them, bond with a disciple or a spiritual community, it is the nature of a soul to connect. It was brilliant and special to spend time with you. We are not leaving so soon though, our small group has decided to try other forms of connections now. We want to be part of a whole series of experiments before we understand how short span lasts in the sum of the experiences. 

Our journeys are now taking a notch upwards, because people are taking longevity more seriously, so we will blend in better in a new way of thinking that comes naturally with it. Living longer and knowing that you will most probably have time for everything, changes the collective mindset in ways you don't see yet, because this is new to your species. Even the way you consume can change if you know your life expectancy is above past generations. It is in the air now, mature love suits us better, no more eloping during young age for us, we will be able to experience what you think of as mature love.
